DIY: Storage Drawers

While I was on summer vacation, was looking around on Pinterest and I saw this set of storage drawers.  It was on a blog called Down The Learning Road.  I knew it was something that I wanted for my classroom to keep all my odds and ends in.
On the blog, it said that I could get the drawers at Lowes or Home Depot.  I was able to find mine on Amazon and I was able to use some of my Amazon points.  All they had available was black so I knew I needed to spice it up a little.
I took all the drawers out and set them aside.  Then I used a Rustoleum spray paint that could be used on many different surfaces including plastic.  There were a lot of bright fun colors to choose from.  I applied several even coats until it was completely covered.
Once it was dry, I put the drawers back in.  I used my computer to create tags for each drawer.  Once I figured out the dimensions, it was simple to change the names on the labels.  It is small enough to sit on my desk and it has been a life-saver to help keep me organized! I couldn't be happier with how it came out!
