work, homework, and even sometimes to support my whole group lesson (if appropriate). This bundle is so versatile.
Another thing that I love to do leading up to St. Patrick's Day is Multiplication BINGO! Who doesn't love BINGO? I have used this BINGO as a center, and I have also made multiple copies of the BINGO boards to use with my entire class. I love how my students are so motivated to solve the multiplication facts and cover the spaces on their board. I usually give out St. Patrick's Day stickers, bookmarks, or pencils, just to make it a little more exciting! If you are not doing multiplication, or if you have a group that could benefit from a little addition practice, I have a St. Patrick's Day Addition BINGO as well!
I also have St. Patrick's Day "no homework" passes that I love to pass out on St. Patrick's Day. I have put them out on my students' desks when they are at lunch and recess (after reading some Leprechaun books). When they ask me about them, I like to pretend that I have no idea how they got there. Another thing that I love to give out during St. Patrick's Day are bookmarks. I usually give out a bunch or bookmarks every week anyway, so why not give out some cute St. Patrick's Day ones? I copy them onto card stock and then let my students color on them with markers and add St. Patrick's Day stickers. Lots of fun for everyone!
